Little curious, as you realized, we are in a forest made up of several species of trees, including this ash tree (Fraxinus excelsior) in front of you.
The European ash is a tree that can reach up to 35 m in height and 1 m in diameter. The buds are matte black, the leaves are 30 to 40 cm long and its fruits are named samaras. The samaras are 2 to 4 cm long, they have a brown color (1 kg of fruits is made from about 16000 samaras). A fruit (a samara) has a single seed.
It grows from the plains and climbs up to the mountain area at 1400 m altitude.
Last but not least, yellow
